It’s Physical Fitness and Sports Month!

Since 1983, every United States President has declared May as the National Physical Fitness and Sports Month for impactful promotion to our nation. Let’s stay active and healthy for this National Physical Fitness and Sports Month! This month is a reminder to start and continue your fitness health goals.

There are many benefits to maintaining your health. Being physically active prevents heart diseases and diabetes. It assists to reduce anxiety and depression as well. It’s important to start and continue your fitness journey. Start your fitness adventure with us!

Anyone, Anywhere, Anytime

Despite the age, there’s a physical activity for everyone! Kids ages three to five years old should play actively while enjoying their activity.

Ages six to seventeen may find joy in many different physical activities. Though they should exercise sixty minutes daily, three times a week. It is recommended by CDC that they do vigorous activity, such as running or playing soccer. Additionally, an activity that can strengthen their muscles and bones which includes gymnastics.

For ages eighteen to sixty-four, it is favored that they do activities that strengthen the muscles and activities to sharpen their balancing for 2 days a week and 150 minutes a week of moderate intensity activity. You don’t have to do it all in 2 days, it can be spread a part in increments of 30 minutes, every day for five times a week.
